How To Read My Weekly Novel For Free Via Wattpad

Hi! My serialized weekly novel, Theodore & The 7 Layers of Space Book 1, begins coming out THIS THEODORE THURSDAY, September 7, 2023! I’m excited! There are two ways you can read it, and today I wanted to focus on the COMPLETELY FREE way: a cool app and platform called Wattpad.

And on Thursday, the first chapter of my book will appear there. Tah DAhhhh! You can also just read in a browser and skip the app, though if you’re planning on using your phone, I recommend it.

I chose Wattpad as my main free platform for a few reasons. First, other than just releasing pdfs (which I'll do on my Patreon), it’s the only place where I had control of using full-color illustrations. Every one of the 52 chapters of the book have at least one illustration, and they’re really important to me and the book, as is their placement. See the fun free map I included with this post, as well as the nifty Power Pattern for Clank (what the heck is that? Read to find out!). Second, Wattpad is already dedicated to serialized storytelling. There are a few platforms out there which are, but this one won for me. In no small part because, third, there is already a large and dedicated audience there.

Because the biggest thing I’m trying to do with this online book premiere is simply get people to read it in the interest of building an audience, and I’ll be asking for your help in doing that, too!
